16 Jan MYANMAR: Group Teaches Human Rights
The Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) plans human rights presentations at seven universities and colleges in Mon in Myanmar. Aung Myo Kyaw, spokesperson for the organization said, “students are future leaders of a country. So they must know human rights when they lead their country. They have to respect the rights of others. They must be leaders who protect the rights of their citizens. For that objective, we hold such talks.”
