06 Apr TAJIKISTAN: Human Rights Training for Government Officials
The Office of the Human Rights Commissioner of Tajikistan together with the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) have jointly organized a five day training course in Human Rights. Participants included officials from the Law Faculty of the Tajik State University, the Military Institute under the Ministry of Defense and the Training Institute for Judges. According to Elena Volochai, the trainer, explained, “the aim of the training is to improve knowledge about human rights and to develop training skills. The participants are enthusiastic and committed and this with the skills they gained makes a solid pool of trainers on human rights.”
