UGANDA:  Maternity Hospital Adopts Innovative Program Including Human Rights Education

A maternity hospital in Kaabong that has been granted an award for its outstanding social innovation including human rights education. By the Makerere School of Public Health.  The award reads, “this commends the project innovators and implementers for improving the health, wellbeing and livelihood of women and girls in Karamoja, through provision of healthcare, agricultural business skills, human rights education and protection from violence and discrimination.”
