United Kingdom: Amnesty International Lists Children’s Books With Human Rights Connections

Amnesty International, UK has posted to their website a list of children’s books that best uphold, illuminate or celebrate human rights and the values that underpin them.  The list comes from the Kate Greenway Medal shortlist and the Carneigie Medal shortlist of childrens books.  The posting consists of copies of covers of each of the shortlsted books.  Clicking on the illustration of the cover leads to a page that describes the human rights connection of each.  The posting is an excellent resources for human rights educators.
