UNITED STATES: Human Rights: Student Leadership Council

The Prince William County, Virginia, Human Rights Commission has called for high school students for its 2019-2020 Human Rights: Student Leadership Council.  The council is intended to develop young leaders and develop their understanding and appreciation of diversity. Denise McPhail, Outreach and Education Coordinator of the County Human Rights Office described the content of the program.  She said, “students will have opportunities to network with Human Rights professionals, government and community leaders within our region, and learn more about human and civil rights.”
