UNITED STATES: Human Rights Workshop for Educators

The University of Connecticut is offering an Educator Workshop titled, “Centering Youth Voices in Human Rights Education and Advocacy.”   The purpose of the workshop is to help educators learn and strengthen knowledge about human rights concepts and advocacy.  Facilitators include Glenn Mitoma, Assistant Professor of Human Rights and Education, Sandra Sirota, a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Human Rights Institute at the University, and Danielle DeRosa, a Clinical Instructor in the Sport Management Program.  The workshop is free to classroom educators and community based practitioners.
