25 Oct IRELAND: Ex-President/High Commissioner to Speak at Law School
The National University of Ireland (NUI) Galway is sponsoring a panel discussion on The Necessity of Advocacy. The keynote speaker for the event is Dr. Mary Robinson, former President of Ireland and former UN High Commissioner for Human Rights. NUI Galway includes a Center for Human Rights that is widely recognized. Dr Charles O’Mahony, Head of the School of Law at NUI Galway, is quoted as saying, “The School of Law and Irish Centre for Human Rights will continue to innovate in human rights scholarship and education … .”
