JAMAICA: Online Learning in Human Rights for Local Judges

An interactive online learning platform in international human rights law has been made available for judges in Jamaica.  The online platform is a joint effort between the Jamaican Judicial Education Institute, Court Management Services, the United Nations Jamaica and the office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.  Speaking of the new platform, Chief Justice Bryan Sykes stated, “the online training platform on international human rights provides the opportunity to be aware of current and new ways of thinking about human rights and how it applies in different circumstances.”
