11 Nov Jammu: Students complete three month course on Human Rights and values
MIER College of Education, an affiliate of the University of Jammu has awarded certificates to a group of students for completion of a three month course on Human Rights and values.
“Dr Adit Gupta said that the Central Government is fervently inculcating awareness regarding human rights in all the sections of the society and what better way to achieve this than by enlightening the youth through such an educational endeavour. The course is all the more relevant in the modern context in which violation against the weaker sections of the society are escalating day by day, he added.
“Dr Mandeep Bhandari, in his address, said that awareness of human rights is the need of the hour and values are the part of our Indian history.”
