MASSACHUTTES and MYANNMAR: Harvard Law Lecturer Teaches Human Rights by Example

The Harvard gazette reports on a Harvard Law School (HLS) lecturer that takes students to Myanmar to learn firsthand about human rights from community activists in that country.  Yee Htun was a director of the Myanmar Program for Justice Trust before coming to Harvard.  She has accompanied students from the HLS International Human Rights Clinic of the Human Rights Program o four separate occasions.  The article quotes Htun as she explains her special interest in humanitarian work.  “Growing up in a refugee camp in Thailand, I was exposed to humanitarian work and service.”
