21 Jan PAKISTAN: Human Rights To Be Included in Primary Curriculum
Writing in The Express Tribune Saba Naz reports that Life Skills, including knowledge of Human Rights, will be included in the curriculum of primary schools in the nine districts of Sindh Province. It is anticipated that the new curriculum will be included in textbooks beginning in the 2018-19 academic year. A similar curriculum, including a number of other topics such as oppression, self-esteem, women’s rights as well as Human Rights, had been introduced earlier to secondary schools.
