Report Recommends Human Rights Commission for British Columbia

As reported by the Lawyer’s Daily, the British Columbia secretary for Sport and Multiculturalism, Ravi Kahlon has presented a report recommending the establishment of a provincial Human Rights Commission.  At this point, British Columbia is the only Canadian province without a dedicated Human Rights Commission.  According to Kahlon, the main goal of the commission should be “creating social change through education,” informing British Columbians on human rights and “helping to build healthy and respectful relationships across society.”
