CHILE/CUBA: Bachelet speaks on importance of Human Rights
As reported in Santiago Times outgoing Chilean president Michelle Bachelet spoke on the importance of Human Rights during her recent visit to Cuba. According to the article, president Bachelet stated, “the international policy of my Government has been aimed at promoting understanding among peoples, democracy, human rights, promoting peace, strengthening economic relations and work in cooperation in different areas.”
