Asma Jahangir, a prominent Human Rights activists has died of cardiac arrest at the age of 66. Ms. Jahangir most recently served as UN special rapporteur on freedom of religion and on human rights in Iran. As reported by BBCNews.com she is described by admirers as a “hero,” and a “saviour of democracy and human rights.”
