Similarities and differences between the human rights systems of Latin America and Europe were recently discussed at a meeting between the Inter American Court of Human Rights and the European Committee of Social Rights held under the auspices of the Council of Europe.  According to the Council of Europe’s website, “the meeting provided also an opportunity to exchange information on the case-law of the Court and the Committee, as well as on the implementation of the Court’s judgements and the Committee’s decisions.”
