11 Nov Students Ghana celebrated Human Rights Day

Students in the Kaneshie Kingsway Cluster of Schools in Accra, Ghana celebrated Human Rights Day under the theme “Youth Standing Up for Human Rights.” The celebration included reading of a statement from the United nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. Speaking at the event, the Head of Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative (CHRI) Africa admonished students, “this Human Rights Day, consider how essential human rights are for each person and let’s use them every day as our compass to seek justice, equality, peace and freedom for all.”
