This week, GO-HRE representatives are meeting with education leaders on the Yucatán Peninsula. The visits include Yucatan’s Secretary of Public Education, Dr. Juan Balam and Secretary of Education for the state of Campeche, Maestro Victor Sarmiento. GO-HRE expects to sign memorandums of understanding with these two states in the very near future. We’re excited about the prospect of hundreds of thousands of children in this area receiving human rights education through engaging lessons provided through Colega.
