Abu Dhabi: Muslim Educator Speaks of the Need to Teach Human Rights

Speaking at the International Muslim Communities Conference (IMCC) in Abu Dhabi, Dr Gahad Hamed, professor at the University of London, Ontario, Canada spoke of the need to create education programs for Muslim high school and university students to teach about Islam as a religion of peace and tolerance.  According to Dr. Hamed it is important for Muslim students to be taught “the Islamic values such as love and kindness and the protection of human rights.”
