13 Mar CAMBODIA: Raoul Wallenberg Institute Funds Human Rights Training
The embassy of Sweden and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) have agreed to provide more than $3 million to support human rights education in Cambodia. The grant will provide educational support through 2022. Samuel Hurtig, the embassy head of development cooperation, said yesterday that RWI’s activities have significantly contributed to improving knowledge of human rights, gender equality and the principles of the rule of law among citizens and the public sector in Cambodia over the past years.
