The United Nations Information Center Japan recently hosted a youth forum in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.  Other sponsors included Amnesty International, the Soka Gakkai Peace Committee and Human Rights Watch.  Among the many impressive speakers at the forum was Riyo Yoshioka, Senior Program Officer, Asia Division of the Human Rights Watch, who was quoted as saying, “Human Rights are “like blood” – something that flows through our veins and are indispensable for our lives.”
