National Museum to Promote Human Rights Education

According to Focus Taiwan, The National Human Rights Museum is scheduled to open next May.  The museum will preserve cultural relics from Taiwan’s authoritarian past.  The opening was announced by Premier Lai Ching-te (賴清德).   Cabinet spokesman Hsu Kuo-yung (徐國勇) is quoted as saying, “After its inauguration, the museum will push for the release of more political documents and continue to preserve “negative heritage” sites, restore historical truth and promote human rights education.”
