22 May RUSSIAN FEDERATION: Law School Sponsors Conference on Human Rights
A conference on, “Legal awareness and education in the area of human rights: experience and perspectives of the modern Russia” was recently sponsored in Moscow by the High Commissioner for Human Rights (HCHR) in the Russian Federation and Kutafin Moscow State Law University. Participants included academics, teachers, regional Commissioners for Human Rights, representatives of the legislative and executive authorities. The Council of Europe Program Office in Moscow also attended the Conference and gave this report.
