The United Nations is concerned about the continuing violations of children’s rights in conflict zones

The Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba, expressed the international body’s concern about the continuing grave violations of children’s rights in conflict-ridden areas, and called for the need to provide the necessary protection for boys and girls at risk of death, recruitment and rape, among other horrors.
