28 Feb TURKEY: Bar Associations Discuss Human Rights Centers

Lawyers and Bar Association Representative from throughout Turkey met in Ankara under the Joint Project of the Council of Europe (CoE) and the European Union (EU) “Strengthening the Capacity of Bar Associations and Lawyers on European Human Rights Standards (SCoBAL).”  Participants discussed accomplishments and implemented activities of the past six months and ways to reach short-term targets under the Strategic Action Plan for the Development of Human Rights Centers for both the Union of Turkish Bar Associations (UTBA) and its affiliated bar associations.
