14 Sep FRANCE: Council of Europe Inaugurates Online Teaching for Human Rights Educators
The North-South Centre of the Council of Europe has launched a new free online course on the Human Rights dimension of Global Education. The course is designed for teachers working in both formal and non-formal education. The materials are designed for educators. According to the Council of Europe Newsroom, “At the end of this four-week course learners will be able to:
- understand the relation between global education and human rights education
- comprehend human rights education in their local level and its interconnections with the global context
- comprehend the dilemmas and challenges in human rights education
- practice human rights education through the organization of activities”
