Basic training to create awareness among government officials, college professors, police, district police, students’ unions and NGOS about human rights.
“Haflong, Oct 27: With the aim of creating awareness among the government officials, college professors, police (Battalion), district police, students’ unions and NGOs about human rights, the Dima Hasao district administration organized a one-day training programme on human rights at Haflong Government College on Friday.
The programme was attended by N K Borah as the chief guest while H B Chetri, Deputy Chairman, NC Hills Autonomous Council, Principal of Haflong Government College, Dr M Rahman, Prashanta Dutta, Additional Superintendent of Police, Haflong, member of Foreigner’s Tribunal and other guests of honour were felicitated with phulam gamosa.”
